This Door Planer version of the popular GuideMatic attachment for most electrically powered type rotary hobby tools has been designed to plane the edges of wood or wood composite doors, drawers and windows up to 1-9/16" thick. The housing is machined from solid aluminum.

The cutter is 1/4 inch diameter, 2 spiral flute high speed steel with threaded adapter fastened to cutter.

A sealed high speed ball bearing is installed in housing close to flutes to support cutter. The depth of cut is approximately 1/64 inch per pass. The cutter is well shielded and difficult to damage or break. Knob for extra stability.

Exhaust port directs shavings away from operator.

Round disc is removable via the screws so user can plane up to a perpendicular surface.
