The GuideMatic is the perfect woodworking attachment for your rotary tool. The Guidematic concept was developed to address the problem of controlling the cutting action of most small, portable, high speed rotary type powered tools with a 1/8" collet. With this attachment, one can accurately freehand plane straight lines while controlling the amount of material being removed without gouging. It can also chamfer, carve and engrave. The 2 supplied high speed steel cutters will cut most woods and wood composites. Additional cutters (RotoZip SC4) are available at local tool centers.

The video depicts the 1/2" INCH version (still available) shows kit with the straight guide and the profiling guide. The Super GuideMatic is supplied with the straight guide only. 

The pictures are of the new 1" INCH version in this listing. Show in the cutaway section is the ball bearing support for the longer cutter. Another picture shows the difference between the 1/2" and the 1" model. The view from the front shows the cutter and the exhaust port that will direct debris away from operator.

The Super GuideMatic is the perfect accessory for your hand-held rotary tool. With the Super GuideMatic you can now make controlled straight cuts up to 1" INCH WIDE x 1/64 inch deep per pass in wood and wood composites.

The GuideMatic produces shavings instead of fine dust and directs debris away from the operator.  The cutter is well shielded and difficult to damage or break. The GuideMatic allows you to perform operations that were previously impossible to do freehand.  Do not compare its operation with sanding discs.

There is no available tool that can do what the GuideMatic does!

The Super Guidematic will also fit the Dremel Model 4200 with EZ Change Collet. Just remove the EZ Change collar and unscrew the chuck.  Then install the collet and nut that came with your tool and continue to install the planer cutter, guide and gray nut.

The supplied solid carbide cutter will cut any wood, wood composite, plastics, laminates and Corian. The GuideMatic is the perfect accessory for your hand-held rotary tool. 

With the Straight-Line Guide you can now make controlled straight cuts up to ½ inch wide x 1/64 inch deep per pass in wood, wood composites, plastics, Formica and Corian. The cutter can also be extended beyond the end of the guide to produce grooves. Also included in the kit is the Profiling Guide that allows the user to use the tool like a power knife. With it you can gouge out openings, enlarge holes, follow curves.

The unique geometry of the Profiling Guide allows the cutting depth to be varied from 0 to 1/32" deep simply by rotating the power tool relative to the workpiece. The Lode-Stone generates its own unique permanent magnetic field and does not need batteries or other special care. Max continuous temperature 178 degrees F. Low temperature is well below zero so it’s great for ice fishing.

This product will not lose magnetism regardless of the orientation or proximity to another magnet(s).  It can be used in salt water.

Our magnetic Lode-Stones product dimensions are: 1/8"diameter by 5/32" in length and weighs  2.6 grains (not grams) each. It is copper and nickel plated to resist corrosion.

It will accept fishing line up to .039 diameter. A larger size is under development.
It's weight is so minimal, that it shouldn't affect the action of most lures.

Example: The average business card weighs 20 grains. Its purpose is to attract fish, who are naturally curious about their surroundings. It creates a magnetic field that most fish are thought to use for navigation and finding prey. If fish are nearby, they will investigate. There are articles about fisherman magnetizing their hooks and catching more fish.

This tubular product can simply be placed on the line before the hook or lure is tied to the fishing line. They will freely slide on the line and will give any lure or bait its unique magnetic signature.

The kit consists of 4 pairs or 8 separate assembled items that can be arranged separately or in pairs. They come on a large steel safety pin for easy access and storage. They will not fall off pin if inverted while pin is open.

Threaded adapter to double the length of most powered hobby tool Flex Shafts,

It was developed to extend the usefulness and length of the tool.Extends life of flex shaft by reducing the bend radius of cable.The internally and externally threaded adapter connects multiple Flex Shafts together to extend the working length of the tool.The machined flat areas on the 3/4 externally threaded diameter are for tightening the threaded adapter, with a 5/8 open end wrench,to the 1/2-20 male thread under the internally threaded cap of the Flex Shaft Handpiece. The cap will not be used in this assembly.Complete the connection of the second Flex Shaft as you connected the first Flex Shaft to the power tool.The two notches on both sides of the threaded adapter are intended to help remove the adapter if it gets stuck in the housing nut due to improper installation. A penny works as the wrench.

Flex Shafts not included

The Corner Guide is designed to clean out 90 degree inside corners (arms) or vertex that may have a radius or other undesirable features using popular name brand rotary hobby powered tools.

The included 1/8"(.125) diameter double ended carbide cutter (USA made) will cut wood, plastics and most metals. The guide housing is machined aluminum and the guide nut is a tough plastic. To use the tool, hold the power tool with attachment adjusted and mounted, 45 degrees relative to the area being cut.

The flat machined areas of the metal guide should always be perpendicular to the vertex (directly 180 degrees opposite the area being machined).

Setting the cutter length will be shown in above picture with the red aligning arrow. Exposing more of the cutter will produce an undercut or groove. This could be useful welding or sealing groove. A radiused, flat or spherical cutter can also be used, as long as the cutting end is less than .125 diameter, the inside diameter of the bearing.

This Door Planer version of the popular GuideMatic attachment for most electrically powered type rotary hobby tools has been designed to plane the edges of wood or wood composite doors, drawers and windows up to 1-9/16" thick. The housing is machined from solid aluminum.

The cutter is 1/4 inch diameter, 2 spiral flute high speed steel with threaded adapter fastened to cutter.

A sealed high speed ball bearing is installed in housing close to flutes to support cutter. The depth of cut is approximately 1/64 inch per pass. The cutter is well shielded and difficult to damage or break. Knob for extra stability.

Exhaust port directs shavings away from operator.

Round disc is removable via the screws so user can plane up to a perpendicular surface.
